In mid-November 2019 the European Commission has given approval to funding the proposal for a follow-up project titled as "LRI MS Connection 2".
The follow-up project will run from March 2020 to May 2021. The project will be jointly carried out by the countries of Austria, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Spain and Portugal.
Austria and Estonia have finished the “LRI MS Connection” project successfully in time at the end of May 2019.
On May 9 - 10, 2019 an international conference „Land Registers Interconnected“ was held in Tallinn, for discussing the possibilities and challenges of interconnecting land registers in Europe with the wider international circle of land register specialists, the notaries, the court authorities and experts of the field.
The project "LRI MS Connection" has compiled the flyers to inform the public of the LRI service for searching property information. Currently there are versions available in English, in German and in Estonian. Please see below:

The LRI MS Connection project was presented to the European e-Justice Community at the e-Justice Conference 2019 in Bucharest by Mr. Mathias Maurer, the project manager (Federal Computing Centre).

In November and December 2018 the LRI MS Connection project team carried out a detailed analysis of the communication flow and data exchange between the central LRI platform and the respective data platforms of piloting countries Austria and Estonia.
The LRI platform provides two types of land register data search forms. There is one general search form provided for a simultaneous search across all the interconnected member states. The other search forms may be titled as country-specific search forms, which all allow carrying out a land register data search in a one specific country or in one land register of a country.
On September 11th, 2018 the project partners held the second workshop of the Project LRI MS Connection. The focus of the workshop was on the creation of web-services for interlinking the national land registers of Austria and Estonia to the central land register interconnection platform (LRI) at the e-Justice portal (www.e-justice.eu ).
